 <li>Extensive compound database: DWSIM provides a comprehensive database with data for over 1500 compounds.</li>
 <li>Rigorous Thermodynamic Models: DWSIM supports various thermodynamic models such as PC-SAFT EOS, GERG-2008 EOS, Peng-Robinson EOS, and more.</li>
 <li>Thermophysical state (phase) properties: You can analyze properties like Enthalpy, Entropy, Internal Energy, Gibbs and Helmholtz Free Energies, and more.</li>
 <li>Single-compound properties: DWSIM allows you to access critical parameters, chemical formulas, boiling points, vapor pressures, and various other properties for individual compounds.</li>
 <li>Comprehensive Unit Operation Models: DWSIM provides a wide range of unit operation models including mixers, separators, pumps, compressors, heat exchangers, and more.</li>
 <li>Support for Chemical Reactions and Reactors: DWSIM supports conversion, equilibrium, and kinetic reactions along with their respective reactor models.</li>
 <li>Flowsheet Parametric Studies: Use the Sensitivity Analysis Tool and Flowsheet Optimizer tool for automated parametric studies and optimization.</li>
 <li>Petroleum Characterization: DWSIM includes tools for bulk C7+ and TBP Distillation Curve characterization, enabling simulation of petroleum processing facilities.</li>
 <li>Parallel multicore CPU calculation engine: DWSIM takes advantage of multicore CPUs on modern mobile devices for fast and reliable flowsheet solving.</li>
 <li>Save/Load XML simulation files and export simulation results to PDF and Text documents.</li>

ABOUT CHEMICAL PROCESS SIMULATION

Chemical Process Simulation is a model-based representation of chemical, physical, biological, and other technical processes and unit operations in software. It requires in-depth knowledge of chemical and physical properties, reactions, and mathematical models to accurately simulate processes on computing devices.

Process simulation software uses flow diagrams to visually represent processes, and unit operations are connected by product or educt streams. The software solves mass and energy balances to find stable operating conditions. The primary goal of process simulation is to optimize process conditions for efficient operation.
